Tigers Class of 2028

As a team let us show our support for the 7th and 8th Grade girls Volleyball team by going to the home game on Tuesday, The game starts at 5:30. It cost a dollar for students to attend. Let's show we care about all sports in our school.

It would be nice if our boys would show up to support their fellow classmates like some of them did for this past Thursday nights home game.

Monday- Practice 3-5 Full Pads; Running for low grades after practice

Tuesday- Practice 3-5 Full Pads; Running for low grades after practice

Wednesday- Practice 3-5 Helmets, Shoulder Pads, Girdle, Shorts; Running for low grades after practice; QB Bootcamp after practice.

Thursday- Home Game vs Jefferson Jr. Middle School at Smith Cotton High School Stadium 6pm. Players wear WHITE jerseys to school and play in BLACK. Need to be at the Stadium by 5:25pm. Their will be Only ONE GAME.

Friday- Film and light running 3-4:30; No equipment needed.

Canvas Update!

1st Grade check is this Monday and will be done weekly for the rest of the season. Make sure to get assignments turned in. Any F's and players will join Coach Evan's after practice Run Club.

The following consequences will happen with students with low grades

First F Running till their grade comes up ever day after practice.

Two F's Running till their grade comes up ever day after practice, and Miss ONE quarter of game time.

Three F's Running till their grade comes up ever day after practice. and MISS HALF of a game.

More than 3'F results in loss of ALL practice and game time.

Thursday- Home game at Smith Cotton High School Stadium vs. Thomas Jefferson at 5pm. Players wear White Jerseys to school and Play in BLACK Jerseys at home. Players need to be at the stadium at no later than 4:25.

Friday- Film and light running 3-4:30-All equipment stays home

7th grade has practice on Monday Sept. 5 from 3-4pm at Smith Cotton High School Stadium. Players don't need to be in any pads or helmets. It's strictly a walk thru to get ready for Tuesday. Attendance is highly encouraged.

All 7th grade players need to get everything out of the locker room to make sure they have everything ready for the game. I will be at the Junior High from 4:15-5pm Monday if anyone needs to grab their equipment.

Make sure all players have all the pads needed for Tuesday.

Bus leaves at 3:30 on Tuesday.

Big shout out to the workers that helped last night in the concession stand! We worked hard and took care of everything together as a team!! Thank you to everyone that helped last night!

Quick reminder practice is from 4:00 to 5:30 this evening due to the varsity game at 7:00. Remember tonight is our night to work concessions so if you signed up please show up it gets extremely busy in the concession stand for the high school games so we need everyone to be there thanks!

Hey parents it's going to be hot tonight at practice so make sure the boys stay hydrated! Also practice will be over tomorrow at 5:30 due to the high school game. Remember for those that signed up to work the game tomorrow night, show up on time ready to work the high school concession stand is a lot busier than the youth fields so we need you to be there. If your not working the game grab your kids and come support your SC Tigers!

For those that have messaged me about practice during open house this week, if your child needs to attend open house they can be late to practice. Also parents we are still 3 people short on the grill for this Friday nights game, 1 short on clean up, and 1 short working concessions. Please sign up, if we don't support the high school we have no reason to complain if concessions isn't open during our games. We are only obligated to work 1 game a season for them so SIGN UP!

Reminder meeting tonight for 7th grade parents and players 7:00pm at the Junior High auditorium. Also attached is the sign up genius link to run concessions for the high school game August 26th. This is the one and only game 7th grade is required to help with. Please sign up for a spot ASAP. This helps the booster club which is who provides meals for our players 7th grade through 12th grade as well as equipment needed. See everyone tonight!
