🐾 A little behind the scenes from this past weekend at RMSAAM!

We had the pleasure of hosting Canine Trigger Point Therapy with Ken Bain, and there was LOTS of hands-on learning happening! 🐕🙌

Students spent four days working directly with dogs—learning how to evaluate range of motion, identify and treat trigger points, and get a much deeper understanding of the muscles that can cause problems for active and athletic dogs.

One of the best parts of these classes is watching everything learned online come together once students get their hands on the dogs. 💜

A huge thank you to Ken for sharing his knowledge and experience with us, and to all of our students (and canine teachers! 🐶) who made it such a great weekend.

They’re our companions, adventure buddies, coworkers, teachers, healers, and family. And at RMSAAM, we’re especially grateful for every dog who helps remind us why we’re so passionate about animal wellness and therapeutic bodywork.

Few words could better describe the people who dedicate their lives to working with animals.

They aren’t just animals. They are our teachers, our companions, our healers, our family—and for so many of us, the reason we found our calling in the first place.

At RMSAAM, we are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people who understand that kind of love. People who choose to learn more, feel more, listen more closely, and dedicate their careers to helping animals feel their very best.

Maybe you already work with animals and want to expand your skills… or maybe you’ve been dreaming about a career that feels a little more meaningful.

Our Introduction to Therapeutic Canine Massage course is coming up September 11–14 at Happy Dog Ranch Horse Sanctuary, and the deadline to enroll is THIS FRIDAY!

This four-day course gives you the hands-on foundation to begin your journey in canine massage. You’ll learn therapeutic massage techniques, canine anatomy and physiology, gait observation, behavior and handling, common pathologies, nutrition, and even the business side of building your own practice.

And you won’t simply finish class and be sent off on your own. We provide free mentoring throughout your case study process so you have support as you continue learning and gaining confidence. 🐕💜

This is also the prerequisite for our Canine Sports Massage and Advanced Canine Massage courses, so if you’ve been thinking about pursuing canine bodywork, this is your starting point!
