We have had so much going on this past week!! We had our first meeting where we learned about what is coming up and we got to learn how to micropipette with a fun coloring sheet!!

Then on Saturday the 12th we had students volunteer at Nucor Family Day. We would like to say thank you to Nucor for partnering with us and to our HOSA members for spending their Saturday with us!!

June 16-20 Smith-Cotton HOSA travelled to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete at this year's International Leadership Conference. Cheyenne Crow, Rondall Williams, Ryleigh Nichols, and Antony Gutierrez joined more than 15,000 participants—including students, advisors, health professionals, and alumni. The multi-day conference delivered an immersive environment filled with HOSA-focused learning, leadership, and celebration. Our competitors competed in individual events and the Anatomage team event. Not only did they show off their knowledge, they also had time to take in the sights of the city, build teamwork, and learn about animal conservation at the Indianapolis Zoo. So proud of you!!!

On Wednesday, May 6th, we had our End of Year Celebration. At this we announced our 2026-2027 officers and gave out other awards. We also catered in El Tapatio and had HOSA Leadership students bring in homemade desserts. To go along with that, we had a wonderful dirty soda bar. We appreciate all of the work of our HOSA students and can't wait for net year!!
