If you're out at the Canfield Fair this weekend, be sure to stop by Educational Hall to see the amazing display of Sebring student talent!
Artwork from our students in grades 5-8 is on display, and recordings of McKinley cheerleading and marching band performances at the fair this week are playing in the building!
It's only the second day of school but our B.L. Miller students are already doing such an amazing job with the promises to be respectful, responsible, safe, and positive that we already started recognizing students!
Our elementary students did an amazing job following the expectations for assemblies at today's PBIS assembly. Throughout the year, students recognized for their positive behaviors have the chance to win shirts, and we handed out two today! We are excited to continue to acknowledge the amazing things our students do to fulfill the B.L. Miller promises every day!
Sebring McKinley students were met by an energetic staff and festive atmosphere celebrating the return to school with activities and conversation centered around the building's theme- the film Encanto.
Principal Clark addressed the students, encouraging them to find their gift- their passion, talent, purpose that they will use to contribute to the world, and acknowledged the incredible staff providing support to students on this journey.
The students played conversation bingo to connect with staff and their peers after the summer, watched Encanto and engaged in conversation about the movie, and enjoyed entertaining activities including a photo booth and dance challenge.
Welcome home, Trojans- we're looking forward to a great year!
Our B.L. Miller Elementary team put on a wonderful first day for our students with a warm welcome and a great introduction to the expectations and promises that our students follow as part of our award-winning PBIS program!

This summer, many of our incoming kindergarten students got a chance to experience some time in the classroom at B.L. Miller (and a field trip!).
The United Way Success By 6 program is designed to help students get ready for school to start this fall. These students experienced daily routines and met many district staff members, helping them get familiar with our building and feel confident when they return to the building in August!

On Friday, we honored our seniors at an awards assembly.
With their bright minds and service to the community, the Sebring McKinley Class of 2022 has been awarded $426,425 worth of scholarships between funds awarded by organizations in the community and through the institutions they will be attending in the fall.
We extend a huge thank you to our community for the continued support of our students as they embark on their next journey as Sebring alumni.
Congratulations, Class of 2022!
Today our seniors donned their cap and gowns and took a walk through the halls of B.L. Miller Elementary, met with the cheers and high fives from the younger students and former teachers.
Congratulations Class of 2022!
6th Grade PLTW and LLI students crafted paper flower arrangements for Mother's Day.
Today was Testing Fun Day at B.L. Miller!
3rd through 5th grade students earned the opportunity to participate in fun activity stations by having no unexcused absences on a testing day, using all testing time, answering all questions, and showing their work.
Activities included crafts, sidewalk chalk and bubbles, outside time, board games, and bingo with milk and cookies.
6th grade Project Lead the Way students put on their thinking caps and came up with creative designs for theraputic toys to help children with cerebral palsy.
Each group was given a description of a child with specific needs -such as help with pincer grasp, help in steading themselves while walking, hand and eye coordination, and wrist extension. They were challenged to create an engaging toy to help the child with these tasks. The students presented their creations, sharing their design process and explaining how their toy would help the child assigned to them.
B.L. Miller students who met the KGP (Kids Going Places) goals this week earned some extra outside time today with the Chalk the Walk reward. Keep up the good work!
