The Sunshine Bus completed its tour of our district today with a visit to B.L. Miller.

Last week we shared a tour of the bus during its visit to McKinley and this morning our littlest Trojans were able to load up on snacks, hygiene products, a book, and a stuffed animal.

We are so thankful to have The Brightside Project's Sunshine Bus support our district and "brighten" the beginning of our Trojans' year!

Today students at McKinley were honored for their accomplishments at the end of last year.

Students were honored with Merit Roll and Honor Roll Certificates. Students who also passed all of their Spring Ohio State Tests were given a special prize to commemorate the theme for this year: “Expect More, Become More!”

All of the 61 students who completed Mrs. Hanley’s Summer workbook challenge went swimming this afternoon at the YMCA!

All of our students were very respectful and safe and had a great afternoon skipping school to go for a swim!🏊🏻‍♂️

👏🏼Great job to all of students who completed their entire workbook!

☀️🚌The Sunshine Bus is here!

We are so grateful to have The Sunshine Bus visit our district to start our school year. The Sunshine Bus is a program from The Brightside Project, a local nonprofit that provides various resources for children to help them flourish!

The bus is fully stocked with snacks, comfort and hygiene items, and books for our Trojans to choose from. Stay tuned for a full wrap up next week, but in the meantime, take a tour of the bus⬇️
