How are you doing? I'm genuinely asking. I ask myself this a lot. How am I doing? It's an important inquiry when taken seriously.
This is one of the ways I connect with my inner being or higher self, slowing down, tuning in, and feeling into my inner state. This helps me align with the deeper wisdom available inside of me rather than being pulled outside myself to things far away that I don't have direct contact with or influence over. This simple act helps me stay focused on uplifting my emotional and energetic state as much as possible, bringing more calm into my world, into our world.
In this way, I grow my inner sovereignty and my ability to be a conduit for peace in our world.
The Aries energy of personal sovereignty is extraordinarily strong right now. In the early morning of April 17th (here on the US Pacific coast), the Moon joins the Sun and Kiron in the Human Design Gate 3, creating the New Moon in Aries.
There will be nine orbiting bodies in Aries at the time of the New Moon.
Nine! Wow.
The astrologers are marveling at this alignment that they've never seen before. This is yet another indicator of the unprecedented time we're living in.

Aries is primal fire energy, initiating, potent, full of agency and the ability to create and to create change. This New Moon falls in Gate 3: Innovation, calling us to tap our intuition and bring forth new projects, new perspectives, new possibilities that will seed the New Earth.
Fortunately many such projects are already in motion all around the world, though you won't find them reported on in the mainstream media. Ecovilla San Mateo, a New Earth project I've been a part of for the last three years is one example. (Let me know if you'd like to find out more about it.)
Having a positive new project, something that calls you into the future you want to live in and leave to future generations, provides healthy ballast to all the chaotic and distressing happenings in the broader world.
What are you focusing on and contributing to -- or what can you focus on -- that will give you a foundation to live from that inspires and fuels you, rather than draining and dragging you down?
The one thing we each have command of is where we place our attention and the quality of energy with which we do that. Becoming masterful at this is one key way we grow our inner sovereignty.
In last week's video I made a distinction between the way most people use the term sovereignty to mean being sovereign FROM an outside controlling force, which is an important first step. To sovereign OF, being sovereign of your thoughts, beliefs, energy, behavior, and emotions.
This is the fundamental work we're engaged in right now -- turning our attention inward and growing our compassion, wise mastery of our inner landscape. This is where your true power lies.
