And… we did it. YOU did it. 🌱

Together, our community reached our Ma Earth campaign goal — and because of that, we received the maximum $16,000 matching grant from Ma Earth. More than 200 of you came together to contribute over $10,000 for ATTUNE, and with the match, that generosity has grown into approximately $26,400 to help bring this work to life.

Zooming out even further: across the globe, 11,692 donors came together to raise $985,622 for 200 nature-based projects. Through Ma Earth’s matching model, that collective giving expanded into an estimated $2.18 million for community-led regeneration. We’re honored to be one small part of that bigger story.

“I chose to dedicate my time to ATTUNE because this is way bigger than me.” -Nay

One of our deepest hopes at Weaving Earth is that this life-affirming work doesn’t end when a program does. We hope it ripples outward—into families, neighborhoods, and communities—helping people find a way forward together. As Nay shared, they hope to carry what they’ve learned back to their family, passing down stories and helping younger family members “find a way forward.”

And this weekend, our community showed up for that bigger vision: **we reached our adjusted Ma Earth goal of 100 donors!** 🎉🌱

So we’re optimistically setting a new goal to help us reach the maximum matching funds:

That’s 47 more people choosing to be part of what ATTUNE makes possible: connection across differences, relationship with land, and stories and skills that can be carried forward to future generations.

Our hearts are full. 💚

*We are so grateful for the ATTUNE Season 2 cohort.*

Over the last twelve months, we gathered again and again to learn alongside one another—tending prescribed fire, building emergency response skills, practicing embodied ecology, learning somatic practices that support mental health and wellbeing, studying a wild fluency through bird language and ecological tracking, telling stories, sharing meals, laughing, grieving, and returning our attention to the living world and to each other.

Together, participants earned Wilderness First Responder+ certification, Firefighter Type 2 qualification, and Weaving Earth’s Embodied Ecology Naturalist Certification.

Those certifications matter.
And so does everything they can’t measure.

Over the course of a year, we practiced becoming the kinds of people who know how to respond together. We built trust through shared work, shared responsibility, long days, difficult conversations, delight, and care. We strengthened what Joanna Macy calls *Rough Weather Networks*—relationships that help us meet uncertainty with skill, courage, and companionship.

To every participant: thank you.

Thank you for bringing your whole selves, your questions, your gifts, and your willingness to practice together.

To our facilitators, guest teachers, cooks, childcare providers, land stewards, and partners: thank you for shaping this experience with such generosity, wisdom, and heart.

We leave this year changed by one another, and we’re excited to see how these relationships, practices, and skills continue to ripple outward into homes, neighborhoods, movements, ecosystems, and communities.

For tens of thousands of years, humans have lived in close relationship with the land, and birds have been among our closest teachers—revealing what is happening in the landscape through voices movement, and behavior.

We’ve got some exciting news.

Weaving Earth has been selected to participate in Ma Earth’s Round 3 collective funding campaign—a global initiative supporting community-led ecological regeneration.

What makes this campaign different is that matching funds are unlocked based on how many people participate (not just based on how much is raised.)

That means a $20 gift can have an outsized impact.
