Magic Pony School This multiple-subject enrichment camp incorporates early education with animals & farm life. Camp occurs year-round.

Camp includes caring for animals, hands-on learning, plenty of outdoor creative imaginative play time, crafting,literacy, & so much more.

🌱Picking herbs & flowers and removing the leaves and petals from the stems is such a great sensory experience. It smells amazing as we mix it with our hands.
Next, we dry the herbs and put them in our chickens' nesting boxes. 🐓. Herbs and petals help prevent pests and insects, plus the hens get a soothing and calming smell whenever they go to lay eggs.🌸🐓🥚

We offer farm birthday parties! Children get to meet and feed all of the animals, brush Magic pony, ride in a barrel train, and have the opportunity to visit 4 different children's play areas. 🐴ENRICHMENT & CAMP PROGRAM UPDATE 🐴
🌸 I will be hosting educational enrichment farm camps on a variety of weekends and holidays for the 2026-2027 school year and summer.
I will not be offering the regular weekly program this year due to unexpected changes in my schedule.🌸
☀️☀️On another note, I have 2 openings for the last session of summer camp on August 4th-6th. The time is 10:00-2:00 and the cost is $250. Typical ages are 5-10.☀️☀️

🌱Garden greens & helping bees🐝
This was our biggest lettuce crop yet! The leaves are soft and tender. Soo good!
🐝How to help bees in the garden: Bees need plenty of water to regulate the temperature in their hive on hot days. Using a birdbath with textured rocks or shells ( partially above the water level) provides a safe landing place for the bees to collect water. Smooth rocks and gems should not be used because bees can slip into the water and drown.
The bees bring water to their hive, and fan it with their wings to cool the hive. They can go through a 1/2 gallon of water per day and they return to the same water source. It's important to check the bird bath regularly to ensure it is full.

🎨🖌️Painting a pony🫟🐴

This was Magic's first time being a painted pony. It was a hot day at camp and painting under the shade of a walnut tree seemed to be the perfect art activity. First, we brought Magic up to his hay net hanging on the fence. He happily and calmly munched his hay as children gently
painted his coat with unique designs and brushstrokes. Some quietly painted their own hands and others made creative designs on his fur. Once the pony art masterpiece was completed, they sponged Magic off to remove the paint. He was cooled by the water and the children enjoyed watching as the colors and water merged before dripping onto the ground. Some children used a sponge to slowly wipe the paint, while others enjoyed using bare hands with water to rub the paint off. One child mentioned how soothing and relaxing this activity was. After the painting fun, Magic had a play date with Big Red and they enjoyed frolicking in cool mist coming from the hose. Magic is such an all-Star! He's cooperative, gentle, and such a good sport.
