Northgate Early Learning Center NELC is a licensed Early Learning Center in North Seattle. We provide care and education for children 3 months to 6 years old. Enrollment is year round.

Today, we celebrate the beautiful cultures, traditions, and stories that make our NELC community so special. 💛
Our children had the opportunity to learn about different backgrounds, share pieces of their own heritage, and celebrate what makes each family unique. Through food, clothing, music, stories, and traditions, we were reminded how much we can learn from one another. 🌸🌍

Our students had an exciting day exploring Woodland Park Zoo and discovering amazing animals from around the world. It was a fun-filled adventure full of learning, curiosity, and smiles.

From observing wildlife up close to enjoying time together outdoors, the children had many opportunities to ask questions, explore nature, and create special memories with their classmates and teachers. 🦏🐒

🐣🌷A Joyful Easter Night Celebration at NELC!🌷🐣

Our NELC community came together for a wonderful evening filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful Easter celebration. It was such a special time for our students and families to gather, connect, and create lasting memories together.✨💛

The evening was filled with exciting activities, cheerful games, and plenty of smiles as children participated in festive fun with their classmates and teachers.🤍 🎉

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was seeing families come together in fellowship and celebration. Events like these help strengthen our school community and remind us of the joy of sharing special moments with one another.😊🌸

🌟A fun-Filled Day of Learning and play at NELC!🌟

Our students enjoyed a joyful balance of hands-on learning, creative exploration, and outdoor fun. Through engaging activities both inside and outside the classroom, children had the opportunity to learn, discover, and grow in meaningful ways each day. 😊🍎

Our little learners participated in interactive sensory and fine motor activities that encouraged curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity. From sorting and exploring materials to imaginative play, every activity helped strengthen important developmental skills while making learning exciting and enjoyable. ✨🧩

Outdoor playtime was another special highlight of the day, where students laughed, explored, and practiced teamwork through active play. Whether climbing, pretending, or playing together, these moments supported confidence, coordination, and social connection. 🌿🌞

We love each child learning through play, building friendships, and creating happy memories in a safe and nurturing environment.

Outdoor playtime adventures at NELC
Our preschool kids enjoyed a wonderful time outdoors playing, and learning together in the fresh air. Outdoor play provides meaningful opportunities for children to build confidence , strengthen friendships, and develop important physical skills through movement and active exploration🌿

Our little learners embraced each moment with excitement and joy. It was heartwarming to see their smiles, teamwork, and curiosity shine as they discovered new ways to play and connect with one another. 🛝💛

Spending time outside also encourages creativity, independence, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us. Every laugh, adventure, and shared moments helps create lasting memories while supporting healthy growth and development. 🌈✨

We are so grateful to watch our students learn through play each day and continue growing in such joyful ways.
