We've got a new book in our library! So lucky to have already received a copy of this newly published book by longtime knitter and educator Jane Taylor of North End Knitting School

If drafting your own garment pattern seems overwhelming and intimidating, then this one is for you. It's full of information about how to develop a custom pattern including diagrams , detailed photographs and and how to do the knitting math. Personally, I'm excited to try the "partial knitting for non-standard shapes" section (basically knitwear origami 😊).

Oh and did I mention that there is a WHOLE chapter about pockets?! amazing.

We are now offering Studio Memberships at the Lab. Members receive regular access to the space during Open Studio Hours to use the machines, work on independent projects, and connect with fellow machine knitters.
