PediaPups UW

The Student Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group PediaPUPS is the UW chapter of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG) formed in Fall of 2015.

Our mission is to develop rapport in the pediatric community in the Seattle area. Through our events, pharmacy students learn more about the pediatric patient population in various settings including awareness of different disease states, medical conditions, and socioeconomic backgrounds. PediaPUPS works to educate the children and caregivers about medication safety and germ prevention. Additional

Hello Huskies! As we’re starting to get into the Holiday mood, PediaPUPs is collaborating once again with Treehouse in serving the youth in foster care with our holiday donation drive. Treehouse is an organization that is dedicated to providing school supplies and gifts to foster kids and teenagers. Direct donations are accepted and if you decide to donate $12+ towards Treehouse, you can receive one of our lovely designed ornaments (or $20 for 2 ornaments; every additional ornament is $8) All donations and profits from ornaments will go towards Treehouse. The final day to donate/order an ornament will be 11/23.

Ornament Design will be UWSOP 2022 on one side and a husky on the other side.

Hi friends! PediaPups will be having their Spring General Meeting this upcoming Monday, on May 2nd, from 12:30-1:20 in SCC 348 (South Campus Center Room 348). We will be talking about upcoming events such as the Pediatric Skills Competition, Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, UWSOP Jeopardy Health Fair, and more! And of course, we will have PIZZA! So come nom with us in between class ❤

From 4-5pm in room T-733, four guest speakers from UW Medical Center and Seattle Children's will be joining us and answering your questions about what pediatric pharamacy is all about. This is a wonderful opportunity if you're interested in the field and want to know more about the unique challenges and experiences our guest speakers have seen and gone through. Join us! There'll be Krispy Kreme donuts at the end of the event. :)
