It's official! The Human Powered Submarine Team Campaign is underway. We are calling upon friends, family, family-friends, professors, and previous members to pitch in and support the cause. We are 13% of the way to reaching our goal of $5,000. Let’s keep this momentum going! There are 4 weeks left to contribute so act fast. This week, our objective is to reach $1,500 and accomplish 30% of our campaign goal.

This year HPS is focusing on manufacturing a sustainable hull made of flax fibers. In the first picture shown, you can see three of our members applying 1000 pounds of force to the top of several foam sheets after gluing them together. The foam was donated to HPS by Precision Board. The second photo features the carved out hull mold completed by our sponsors Janicki. Finally, the last photo showcases practice infusions with the flax fibers to prepare for the hull manufacturing.

UWHPS is hosting resume workshop! A former team member and engineering manager from Glosten (a team sponsor) will be going over employee resumes noting important aspects! There will also be a Q&A session to ask about your resumes. This is members-only event.
