As AAPI Heritage Month comes to a close, we are proud to celebrate our community at CityU. Acknowledging the cultures, stories, and contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
Did you know AAPI Heritage Month was officially recognized by Congress in 1992? May was chosen to honor milestones like the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to the U.S. on May 7, 1843, a meaningful part of this community's history in America.
