This historic legislation, known as the Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment, is the first to draw a strict legal dividing line between state-licensed medical programs vs state-licensed adult-use programs.
Rescheduling medical cannabis to Schedule III furthers the separation. We will see what happens to adult use programs once the hearings on the topic begin on June 29.
Contact your Congressional representatives to encourage a permanent removal of adult-use cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act altogether!

Randall successfully sued the US Government after being arrested for growing cannabis to treat his glaucoma. The case established the legal foundation for the Compassionate Investigational New Drug (IND) program, which accepted only 13 patients who received a monthly tin of low-potency joints grown and dispensed by the US Government. The program closed to new registrants in 1992. Irvin Rosenfeld still gets his monthly supply, while Elvy Musikka left the program, preferring better quality cannabis in Oregon.
