As early learning professionals, many of us have explored & applied Rudine Sims Bishop's concept of MIRRORS & WINDOWS in a variety of ways in our ECE classrooms.

On August 26th, Hilltop's Outreach Institute will host an exciting opportunity to learn how we can better utilize these strategies to support & uplift the knowledge & stories of our AANHPI children, families, and educators.

Led by an amazing panel of authors from the forthcoming book, No Single Story (Amplifying the Voices of Asian American and Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Early Educators), this interactive session will explore how identity, culture, and lived experience shape teaching, caregiving, and learning environments.

Join us to deepen your understanding of intersectionality and expand your toolkit for creating inclusive & welcoming learning spaces for everyone in your early childhood community!

This panel will explore how to create culturally responsive environments, support AANHPI children, & build connections across communities.

Today is the day!

Join us 6-8 pm via Zoom to hear Jamie's story and the lessons it provides on why anti-bias education is so vital for our youngest learners.

Registration closes at 5pm:

This workshop will illustrate how an anti-harassment legal case can provide lessons on how to approach anti-bias education with children.

Looking for a fun and engaging đź”…Summerđź”… program for your child this year? Join us at Hilltop Children's Center for our annual Summer Camp from June 22 through August 28th!

Children between kindergarten and 5th grade are welcome to join us this Summer between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM for up to 10 weeks of Summer fun and exploration.

Each week of our camp features a new theme that our educators base our classroom activities and arrangement on. We plan for two field trips per week of our camp, so that the class has an opportunity to get out and explore our greater Seattle community as well.

We offer weekly registration for our Summer Camp program to allow for greater flexibility based on your own Summer plans! Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are all included in the price of registration.

Slots are filling up fast, so call or email us at 206-283-3100 or [email protected] for more information or to secure your child's spot this Summer!
