Happy National Earth Day! Today, We recognize our responsibility to protect our planet and advance environmental justice. One way we put this commitment into action is by coming together to discuss the issues that matter most.

As part of an early Earth Day celebration, we were honored to welcome one of the most influential advocates for the environment, Amy Bowers Cordalis. She joined us to share powerful family stories, historic dam removal victories, and a call to action inspired by her Yurok tribal community.

We also enjoyed delicious Indigenous appetizers from chef Jason Vickers through his company, Natoncks Metsu— Feeding My Cousins.

Today, and every day, we invite you to take a moment to reflect on your connection to the land and find a way, big or small, to give back to the place we call home.

Thank you to our co-sponsors, the Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture, and the Institute for Environmental Justice and Sustainability.
