Pod Leaders run the daily activities and manage the virtual schooling for groups of 4-8 children whose families have determined they can socially distance together in a bubble. A Pod Leader manages the Pod on a daily basis, creating a schedule and adhering to virtual school assignments, helping kids with academic concepts, and creating space for fun and play. The Pod Leader also maintains a healthy and safe environment for learning and growth. In addition to the virtual schooling provided by the district, Pod Leaders provide enrichment activities in STEAM, service learning, mindfulness, literacy and other topics through the curriculum provided by NLP.
Pod Leaders working 20+ hours a week are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance. Nautilus Learning is dedicated to providing a living wage for all employees. Salary is dependent on experience and the specific needs of each pod.
