Big news from the Clown Garage!

We are so excited to introduce our student intern to you all. This marks a new exciting chapter as we expand our clown family and open the doors for new voices to tinker, tumble, and take part in the beautiful chaos that keeps the Clown Garage spinning. Join us in giving Elise the warmest welcome as she dives headfirst into the clowning life!

Elise is a circus artist with SANCA Seattle and a student at Gibson Ek High School. Gibson Ek offers an internship program where students collaborate with businesses to gain skills and explore careers. Elise reached out to Clown Garage in hopes of learning more about business ownership and working as a circus artist, coach and clown.

Together we are doing exciting work in marketing, content creation, and youth class coaching in order to expand the Clown Garage’s presence and further connect with the community! We can't wait to see Elise learn, grow, and thrive in this exciting internship!

The Tiger Mountain Youth Circus was in Mt. Vernon at the Skagit Wood Expo this weekend! I had so much fun hosting the circus show and performing with our own little Tigers !! After years of performing on stage with my own material, it’s the joy of my life to pass it on to other children and especially my own kids! So proud!

Thanks for yet another great year !

Clowning connects us. It’s about laughing at ourselves, poking at the status quo, and building a playful, united community of fools. In our Issaquah classes, you’ll explore circus‑rooted arts like Physical Humor and Clowning, discovering what happens when you let your body lead the joke.

Guided by expert mentor and Cirque du Soleil artist Mick Holsbeke, you’ll build confidence, embrace vulnerability, and make big, fearless comic choices.

No experience needed. Just a love of movement and a willingness to take a joyful leap.
