Garfield HS PTSA

Garfield HS PTSA A non-profit organization, Garfield PTSA advocates for and supports the health, education, and full potential of all Garfield HS students.

Garfield High School is unique among Seattle public high schools in our diversity of families, classofferings, sports and activities, and exceptionally talented students. Garfield's Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) engages parents, faculty, students and staff in a creative collaboration that boosts the energy and optimism that keeps our school among the finest in Seattle. We are a non-pro

fit organization affiliated with the Seattle Council PTSA and Washington State PTA. The PTSA has been Garfield's most enduring school support organization. Beyond being a source of volunteer energy, the PTSA also contributes more than $200,000 annually to the school for projects and other support, and advocates for appropriate district and state funding of the school and K-12 education in general. With over 1600 students, 130 faculty, and a host of volunteers, Garfield is a big and busy place! The PTSA helps people navigate and engage with GHS by publishing the weekly eBark newsletter, maintaining a website and social media, and creating community-building events.
