Find your leadership purpose with the Communication Leadership Master's Program at the University of Washington.

Our award-winning master's program helps prepare professionals for the challenges of tomorrow through our purpose-driven AI-ready curriculum. The Communication Leadership graduate program at the University of Washington houses unique degree emphases in digital media and creative engagement. The program guides professionals into transformative roles through the design of networking strategies, anchored in compelling storytelling and insightful analytics. Professionals build the necessary communication knowledge, strategies, and skills to manage content, information, systems, people, and change. Our program is especially well suited for the Pacific Northwest and its reputation for innovation and entrepreneurship, enhanced by robust social and civic connectivity. Four themes capture the learning focus and approach of the Communication Leadership degrees, and permeate the courses:

Innovation: Staying ahead of the technology curve of today and tomorrow. Entrepreneurship: Maximizing opportunities while managing risk through creative business models

Community: Building sustainable relationships through the power of social networks. Story & Entertainment: Engaging through multi-platform narratives that inspire, persuade, and grow trust.
