ICYMI: Last year, Bush alum Kasey Archer '24 used her Senior Project as an opportunity to improve the searchability of the Bush online Archive.⁠

Kasey partnered with former Bush archivist Cali Vance to develop thorough descriptions of the content in several years' worth of the long-running student publication "The Rambler." Now, when you log on to the Bush online Archive to search the collection, you'll have an easier time locating issues by topic, person, date published, etc. ⁠

Some kind of magic just happened to bring you all this throwback, and this admin cannot stop smiling about it.

We’re attempting to fulfill a request for a Class of 1957 throwback post, with a specific alumna named. We search the ‘57 yearbook to no avail.

*THEN*

In the same five minutes, there’s a knock at the door and a mail delivery - in it is a 1956 yearbook. The alumna we guessed was Class of ‘57 was right there, in the senior photos section of the 1956 yearbook.

Can you believe the timing?!

Anyway, here’s the 1956 The Bush School graduating class, looking hilariously fun and studious.

Long-time Upper School art teacher Bill Baber served in two tours in Vietnam as a Radarman and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) specialist in the Navy. For more than two years he was based out of Yokosuka, Japan.

Thanks to you, Bill and to all veterans for your service. We are so grateful today and every day.

We dove into the 1966 yearbook by request, and when we say it did not disappoint…
