Have you got Joses book yet? Where did you see it?

This photo was taken at Miami International Airport - MIA. I stopped by to sign some books before my flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I had just gotten up an hour before; I didn’t know the store manager wanted to take a photo.

If you’ve read the book you’ll know that shortly after Trump’s election, I was advised NOT to fly domestically any more. I thought about it for awhile. Then took time off and wrote this book—which is now available in about 150 airports across the country.

I refuse to fear my own country.

California is putting forward a vision of equity that is positive, inclusive, and radically constitutionally sound.

Including aspiring citizens in civic office is such an obviously right thing to do, it prompts the question of why never did it before?

A bill passed in the state legislature on Friday would allow immigrants living in California, documented and undocumented, to be appointed to public boards and commissions. California allows non-citizens to practice law, dentistry, accounting, and other professions. Experts who work in these prof...
