The group, run by Stuart Ferrier, welcomes local documentarians to our documentary community group DocuTalk. Every fourth Sunday (please check the Meetup for the most up to date info), the group provides an opportunity for documen

tarians to network, share knowledge, find feedback and mentoring opportunities, and gain support in the pursuit of their work. Come prepared to be inspired and make connections with regional documentary filmmakers and all others who love the documentary format. Documentarians are welcome to present their work (finished or in-progress) and to gather supportive feedback.

Thanks everyone who came out last night!

Ron Dawson, gave a world class presentation on developing a meaningful audience through content development. His company, Dare Dreamer Media, Inc., is aptly named. My take away...he was attending an industry conference with 10,000 people and asked himself, "How can I make sure everyone here knows my name?" He volunteered to film the conference...shooting and interviewing by day, editing by night. The final night was an award ceremony and his film of the preceeding days screened. That's how he picked up Adobe as a client, and a handful of others.

Dare to dream?

Dare to put massive momentum behind that dream.

PS. Check out Ron's podcast, Radio Film School, on iTunes (he's got the Top 5 episodes in his genre.)
