It's that time of year... My favorite time of Year... Day 1 of 30 days of Gratitude...What are you Thankful this time of year... (also not to tute my own horn however after all these I finally have my Christmas Purse and my Thanksgiving Pumpkins out on November 1st... Yeah me...🦃)

So one of my biggest pet peeves is people taking scripture out of contexts... However, I am a strong enough Christian to know that everyone has their own walk with God... their own path to follow...The Bible is a tool to help us grow closer to God... Everyone has had their own life experiences which allow us to read the Bible differently.. This video has been passed around this weekend is a great example of how everyone interprets the Bible differently ... So remember this the next you try and tell someone what it says in the Bible... Everyone is awesome and everyone has their purpose to fulfill in this lifetime.

On this journey into your Queenhood,...creative is one of the most important steps in your journey. However, just like Cinderella, you have beat down by negative thoughts... negative comments by others, but like Cinderella, you can overcome that. You can release your creative side. You were created to be creative. And being creative every day leads you down the path to your greatness. In order to do this you to sweep away the cobwebs in your mind. You have swept away the thoughts in your mind that add no value to your life. Sweep away the nonsuperficial life. You can sweep away the cobwebs and bring in the order of your thoughts. As women, we tend to get confused by the thoughts taking up space in our minds. We become confused by about our soulful creative work. This is why a deep sweep of the mind is needed in order to go deep with creativity. Journaling, praying and sitting with God is the best way to sweep the old cobwebs. What are doing today to clear the cobwebs?

Self Care...

When you think of self-care.... self-love do you think of bubble baths and trips get medi/pedis 🧖‍♀️💅with the girls.

Or do think about maybe I should schedule a Mamogram? Or maybe I should be taking Vitiames and be working out more, now that I am "getting older". Or maybe just go to the doctor and be honest with the doctor. 😷👩‍⚕️

Today I had a doctor appointment with my Neurologist and when my doc came in she asked me how I was doing... I started to say "I'm good," but I stopped myself... NO, I AM NOT GOOD, NOT GOOD AT ALL! and that is really hard for me to admit. I am not doing well. I am in pain all the time and I have been shoving it down for almost 6 months now because I have a s**t ton of stuff to do that I thought was more important.

Way more important than me...

❤️I haven't practiced self-care because really that is selfish and makes me feel guilty which of course I don't want to feel guilty so I put everyone before me.

But really me feeling like s**t all time and taking take care of myself is a pretty selfish thing to do.

Don't my husband and my kids deserve the best me?

I don't take TIME to relax.

I don't take the time to make the doctors appointments I know I need to make.

I don't take time just to have fun.

To really enjoy myself and just be in the moment, to think about what I need.

What I need to do in order to make myself feel really good about myself.

To truly take care of myself.

To really feel good inside and out so I can be the awesome me my husband and kids deserve.

👑As moms, it is so easy to put everyone first and to think this is noble. To think this is the right thing to do, but just like when you are flying, you must put the oxygen mask on first, then put one on your child.

👑You have to take care of yourself, be fully taken care and then you can go put the oxygen mask on your kids. You have to take the time for self-care. And self-care is extremely important...

For a lot of us... September is the month of the real "New Year". It starts with the kids going back to school..... the start of the "Holiday" Season...... the ending of summer and the beginning of the Fall the season, the season of letting go... this is the time of year to start thinking about how to end the year strong, end the year as you intended. What is the one goal you had in January? Have you reached it? On your way to reaching it? Don't worry there is still time... you can still have the goals you want, the hunger and desire is still there... Stop and listen to your soul. Figure out what you want you really want. Because the thing is if you really wanted the goals and the desires you set about in January you would already have it...This is your chance to vow that whatever was in the past, shall remain in the past.

This is your time to let go of your fears, doubts, and worry. It is time for you to leave the shame and guilt and the feeling of unworthiness. But it doesn’t just happen.

You must make the decision to change.

And change is hard. Change requires you to think differently, to act differently, to choose differently.

The change only comes from the realization that what got us here won’t get us to our goals. It won't get us to the life we really know what we should be living.

The thing is it is really simple to get what you want. but the thing is it is hard to change. it will require the distinct decision to say, “I’m choosing change.”

I'm deciding to draw the line in the sand. I am going to go after my dream and my goal no matter what.

But don’t forget one thing: you are ready for it.

What happened in the past prepared you for this moment.

You’re stronger and more determined then you know. It will hurt and it will be hard to change your mindset. The mindset that got you to the place where you are now is not going to get you to your goals or your dreams.

The good news is that the future is yours for the taking. Reach out, hold on tight and let your soul turn you into the Queen you were created to Be!
