How do contemporary Ethiopian Jewish artists in Israel navigate the web of challenges they face and how are their identities and their work shaped by them? Join us next Thursday, April 11, at 7:00 p.m. to hear Efrat Yerday tackle these questions.
We are eager to welcome Yerday, a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at Tel Aviv University and chairwoman of the Association for Ethiopian Jews, as well as an accomplished artist and poet herself. Yerday is also a BAMAH visiting artist.
