Team Ephesus visited Vision House on their service project day. Vision house is a local non-profit that provides shelter to families and children in times of homelessness.
Students made cards for residents, helped the employees with prep for new residents, and learned more about the organization. When asked why they chose this project, students replied, "To help families who need a home!"

May we all learn from our preschoolers, who fit in some time for picnics and relaxation in between all the classroom activities this week. Our dedicated preschool teachers have been working with this class all year on social emotional skills and foundational building blocks for classroom learning in the future. Our teacher-student ratio allow teachers to work in small-group learning environments, meeting each child where they are, academically and socially. We are so proud of how much they've grown!

Our students recently split up in multi-age teams and chose various ways to serve the community. These ideas were student-led and executed. Team Colossae chose to thank cancer researchers at Fred Hutch by bringing them cards and cookies. Along the way, they got to learn more about cancer research, meet a staff member, and see a few of the Nobel Prizes on-site. When asked why they chose this service project, students said, "We want to thank people who are making a difference in the world."

It was a full week celebrating Teacher Appreciation! Each student chose a flower to add to a custom bouquet for each teacher, along with catered lunches, afternoon treats, and a Starbucks run! We would not be who we are without each and everyone of these awesome teachers. Thanks, PTL, for planning a week full of gratitude. 🙏🏽

One of our auction Teacher Experience Raffles was a pizza and movie night hosted by our preschool teachers! Zootopia 2 and animal costumes with their teachers outside of school hours made it a night to remember. Do your child's teachers consistently go above and beyond for them, even outside of school hours? Ours do. Thanks to Ms. Mikaeyla, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Suzy for this awesome night!
