At HRS, we love it when alumni stop by to say hello! Recently, Mac ('17) stopped by campus to catch up with Head of School Mr. Turner and take a tour of our Middle School building, which didn't yet exist when he was a student.

🎓A recent graduate of Western Washington University, Mac is doing great things beyond HRS, and we loved having him back on campus. Come back anytime, Mac!

Yesterday's Alumni Day with our Rising Eagles was a blast! Our young alums enjoyed some updates about the school, a trivia game that harkened back to their time at HRS, a tour of the Middle School, and a lot of catching up with each other. Faculty and staff also enjoyed reconnecting with former students, and our alumni parents came together for mingling and a rousing game of bingo! Though our Eagles leave the nest, we're always excited to welcome them back! We look forward to our Alumni Social in October for our alums age 23+! Go Eagles!

An age-old tradition, humans have been working with textiles in artistic ways for thousands of years! Here are a few textile pieces featured in Arts Fest 2026!

With the success of Arts Fest 2026 this past Thursday, we wanted to keep on sharing wonderful works done by our HRS students! Exploring the architecture and design dream house blueprints, you just might spy several dream homes with libraries, game rooms, and more! At HRS, we are partial to libraries, so excited to see our students are too! In addition to dream homes, some complicated architectural carboard pieces were also on display transporting you to London, Italy, and other spaces!

With so many fantastic creative works from Arts Fest 2026, we had to share more of our students' artistic expressions! Check out these fun clay, paper, and cardboard-based pieces! 👏

🤩Arts Fest 2026 brought our community together to celebrate the importance of the arts as a powerful means of creative expression. With live music performances and poetry readings, plus a ton of installations across the Middle School spanning comics, graphic novels, pottery, paper-mache, drawings, paintings, robotics, architectural designs for dream homes and small-scale buildings, and other works, HRS students' artistic endeavors shined! 🌟
