I could not be with my own children this weekend but I'm very happy to have gotten to spend this weekend with Navy Man Nick and Snohomish Fire Rescue supporting 3 groups of Boy Scout Troops from the region. While I'm too sick sill to go out hiking we hauled out extra supplies and camped at the trail head and thank goodness I had my climbing gear as around 2:30 am one of the boys feel off the bank into the river on a bathroom trip. My Friends son was able to make the over 1 mile walk in the dark (part of the trip was a no flashlight survival thing🫥) to get it so they could have the kid out of the water and walked back to my truck and get him into dry cloths *the trucks GPS was used to send the access point to the Trail head to dispatch* by the time it took the Aid Truck to get him assess for hypothermia. After 45 minutes in the heat the EMS deemed him not at risk and he was allowed to finish the night in his bag.

I'm so happy that I'm getting a little stronger every day. Honestly I spent most of the weekend sleeping but being out in the woods gives me a sense of peace and tranquility that I've been struggling to find while I was in the hospital.

School comes in many forms. My Cara took our younger Rat for a walk now that his harness fits better. Now she is doing Fashion Class with her design app on the computer. Summer is more relaxed but the learning never stops.

Some of you Know me and my back story, most do not.

Im very Ill, I have a infectious brain tumor, while not a ""rare"" condition it typically hits elderly people 65+; and has a 10-15 year life expectancy...

Based on my history of illness, the Pathology Department of Fred Hutch Cancer Care Institute at UW believe that I have had the infection since at least 11 and it is what cause my diabeties and chronic up set stomach as a teen. Im currently being treated for 30 seprate medical conditions and as the weather gets colder Im struggling with daily functions... I will post when I can but we are offically on "Winter Brake "and will resume live videos on Feb 3rd 2024 with our Imbolic Witch Dance time to be determined.
