The Class of 2027 is settling into their "seniority!"π
As the seniors exit, juniors excitedly claim their rightful place as the "big kids on campus." Marked by our annual Ignatian Leadership Conference, the Class of 2027 participated in workshops designed to help them understand their role as campus leaders through an Ignatian lens.
Alumna Nora Hendricks '15 kicked off the conference as students explored what it means to lead with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to being Men and Women for Others as they prepare to shape the year ahead at Prep.

Not goodbye, but see you later. π
Seniors celebrated their last day on campus with a senior breakfast and final school assembly. Faculty and staff who are departing from Prep were honored at today's Goodbye Assembly as well. It's bittersweet to say goodbye, but we know our Panthers will always find their way back home. π

After 31 years, Prep Faculty and Yearbook Program Head Michael Danielson has perfected the art of the yearbook.
More than a mere directory, Seattle Prep's annual yearbook β ππ€π©π° β is a testament to the achievements of Prep's student-body in a given year. Every summer, the yearbook team gathers before the start of the school-year to prepare for the task of completing a yearbook cover to cover, carefully assigning roles and narrowing down themes until one is chosen.
This year's theme? Odyssey. Editors Kayli Tran '26 and Bella Huynh '26 explained that this year's theme is meant to highlight the journey that students experience while at Seattle Prep. "We wanted the yearbook to show all the highlights, but also wanted to stay authentic to the trials and triumphs you can experience on your own Odyssey," said Huynh.
Motifs of our Grad at Grad lamp posts line pages throughout the book and the Jesuit sun at the center of our campus fashioned into a compass rose, evoking the idea of the "path" that you take while journeying from freshman to senior year. Big wins and disappointing losses, it's all a part of the formation of our students.
According to Danielson, "This is the best use of theme in 31 years." At the helm of Prep's last 31 Echos, he spoke proudly of his editors and their drive to motivate their team to maintain a strong sense of continuity throughout the book. "By far this year is the most consistent with regard with the theme throughout the book, both graphically and in the text."
For the past 24 years, Danielson and Co. have been awarded for their efforts with an induction into the Walsworth Gallery of Excellence. This year, we're hopeful that tradition continues.
