SHORTHAND BEFORE IT GOES EXTINCT
Shorthand is a writing system designed for speed. Before computers, people used it to take notes at incredible speeds (often well over normal handwriting). And it is still one of the most practical skills you can learn today.
The system I teach is Gregg Shorthand (Anniversary Edition) — a beautiful, efficient style built from flowing curves and lines that make writing faster, smoother, and more ergonomic than longhand.
How it works:
Gregg is phonetic, which means you write sounds instead of inconsistent English spelling.
Example:
Phone is spelled with extra baggage.
Phonetically, it is just FON.
Instead of memorizing silent letters and strange spelling rules, shorthand gives you fast strokes for sounds. If you can say the word, you can learn to write it.
Why learn it now:
• Take notes faster in class or meetings
• Keep up with your thoughts
• Improve listening focus
• Build a rare analog skill
• Make handwriting feel fluid again
• Learn a practical system that lasts for life
