SHORTHAND BEFORE IT GOES EXTINCT

Shorthand is a writing system designed for speed. Before computers, people used it to take notes at incredible speeds (often well over normal handwriting). And it is still one of the most practical skills you can learn today.

How to write “shorthand” in shorthand!

Did you ever wonder how people use to record speeches or words verbatim before mechanical steno was invented? This was how.

This flavor of shorthand is called “Gregg” shorthand… and it’s what court reporters, journalist, and secretaries used to write REALLY REALLY FAST.

I started learning shorthand when I was frustrated in school that I couldn’t keep up with the professors lecture… so I started teaching myself using old manuals that I found online and on eBay.

But I made ALOT of mistakes and had a lot of false starts and restarts. Learning this writing system took WAY longer than it needed to…
