The Interfraternity Council at the University of Washington is made up of 32 fraternities that consist of more than 1900 members. The IFC has been nurturing community, leadership, academics, brotherhood, and service throughout our campus Greek Community.

At the University of Washington, many chapters participate in “Informal Recruitment”, where potential new members (PNMs) are invited out by fraternity members and go through the rush process at their own pace. Brotherhood is not limited by fraternity walls. Throughout the IFC community, men strive to improve their local and global communities through philanthropy efforts. From raising money to end homelessness, organizing food drives to fight hunger, and running 5Ks to raise awareness for breast cancer, fraternity men at the UW have learned to give back to the world around them.
