The votes are in! The 2025 Sasquatch Book Award winner is Muhammad Najem, War Reporter by Muhammad Najem and Nora Neus, illustrated by Julie Robine (‎Little, Brown Ink).

The Sasquatch Committee met today to decide on our final nominations for the 2025-26 Sasquatch Award. We started with 81 books and somehow narrowed it down to 12. The nominees will be announced at the WLA conference on April 11. Stay tuned!

Voting is open for the 2025 Sasquatch Book Award! Record your votes using the Sasquatch Book Award Form. Voting ends on Friday, May 23 and the winner will be announced on Monday, June 2.

There's still time to vote for the 2024 Sasquatch Award! Votes are due on May 24.

Students can choose their favorite book from a list of 12 nominees. Students should read at least 2 of the nominees in order to vote. Librarians and teachers can record student votes by filling out the Google Form.
