Denny International Middle School PTSA

As we prepare for the start of school, please know that there have been two traffic revisions that will likely impact those who drive their scholar for pick up and drop off.

There is a three-way stop at the middle of 27th Ave SW and SW Elmgrove. You will also see some wonderful original art in the crosswalks from our own ASB students!

The second traffic update is a new stop sign for the intersection of SW Kenyon and 27th Ave SW. This also narrows the intersection so we can no longer have two lanes going north on 27th Ave SW, with one turning right and one turning left.

Please be sure to give grace to everyone navigating the start of school, schedules and these traffic revisions. We also want to respect those that live in the neighborhood and not use or block their driveways.

We can't wait to welcome back our scholars this year and look forward to welcoming incoming students this Friday, 8/28, between 4-6 p.m. at the Back 2 School Bash!

Free food, haircuts, and lots of opportunities to connect with different groups both at Denny and in the neighborhood. Come check it out!

Ka'Leah Rhodes is an 12-year-old member of our Denny International Middle School community. She recently suffered a brain aneurysm and is hospitalized with a brain bleed as she awaits surgery.

We invite you to join in support of Ka'Leah and her family by make a contribution of any size on their Go Fund Me page. Your support will help ease the burden by covering medical expenses, transportation, meals, and other essential needs.

Thank you for your generosity and support. Please keep Ka'Leah and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight and heal.

We got an extension everyone so today is the last day to order your tickets!! Thank you all for supporting and we’ll see you at the game! ⚾️

On Sunday May 31st at 1:00 the Mariners are playing the Diamondbacks and we have plenty of tickets for sale!
They are 25 each (they cost us 18 and 7 goes to Denny PTSA) and we’ve always had a fun day together so scan the code or follow the link to get yours.
When folks are able to get an extra ticket or two, please let us know so we can make sure that all Denny families can go to the game (let us know regarding scholarships).
We’re on the first level near the outfield so you might consider bringing a hat, some sunscreen and maybe even a glove 😉!

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and Hmong Family Farms has a special opportunity for us!
Follow the link or scan the code, select Denny International Middle School and order a wonderful bouquet for 60 or 2 for 100.
On Saturday May 9th from 10 to noon you can pick up your flowers at the Denny parking lot (special arrangements can be made for delivery for a fee).
The deadline is Wednesday May 6th so get your orders in asap, make that special Mom in your life happy while helping out our beloved PTSA at the same time!
