Seattle JazzED

Seattle JazzED Love music? There's a place for you here. JazzED started out with two jazz ensembles that met weekly.

Seattle JazzED is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which was founded in 2010 by a small group of volunteers and music educators, who wanted kids to get great music education opportunities, regardless of what school they went to or how much money they had. Today over 500 students from 70+ different schools come through the doors every year. Seattle JazzED's year round music programs include big

band ensembles, vocal ensembles, special workshops and summer camps. We're known for innovative educational initiatives like the New Works Ensemble, the Girls Ellington Project and Summer Jazz Ambassadors. Sliding scale tuition and free loaner instruments are available for every single program. If you're still not sure where to start, contact us and we'll walk you through it.

🔥 Music without boundaries.
Composer, conductor, and trombonist Freddy Fuego celebrates the release of his newest album with a 15-piece orchestra. Exploring the intersections of jazz, hip-hop, classical, and beyond, Fuego forges a distinct musical language that transcends genre, inviting audiences to experience music without boundaries.

Before the concert, experience the music from a different perspective. On October 23, "Inside the Orchestra" offers a behind-the-scenes look at the 15-piece ensemble in rehearsal, exploring conducting, collaboration, and improvisation (Presented in partnership with Seattle JazzED).

This project is supported, in part, by 4Culture
Presented in partnership with Town Hall Seattle

👉 Gold Passes and individual tickets are on sale at earshot.org/festival
