Join Barbara in this one-session work-a-long practice using mixed media. Learn how to get the most punch out of your wet and dry media, including: color pencils, water-soluble crayons, conte crayon, gouache paints, and watercolors. You’ll work in your sketchbook from your own choice of subject matter. Barbara will guide you through ways to layer different media, get good pigment strength out of your colors, and practice a wide range of values, too. This will be a fun and challenging exercise aimed at expanding your visual vocabulary—say more with your mixed media!
