One of Villa's most beloved traditions during Graduation Week is the friendly face-off between the graduating class and their teachers. Each year, the 8th graders get to choose the game and this year, they chose volleyball.

The competition was fierce, with lots of laughs, cheers, and Villa spirit all around. A perfect way to celebrate the countdown to graduation and wrap up the year with joy and community! 🏐💙

A heartfelt thank you to Jenny G. (Villa Class of ’22, Holy Names Class of ’26) and Lila V. (SAAS Class of '26) for joining us on campus to lead an empowering self-defense workshop for Villa’s faculty and staff. As members of the Seattle Shield Initiative, Jenny and Lila are helping make self-defense education accessible by offering free classes throughout the city.

We are so grateful to see one of our alums using their talents and passions to give back and make a meaningful impact. Thank you, Jenny and Lila, for inspiring our community and equipping our team with valuable skills!

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Villa’s kindergartners put their creativity to the test by designing and building their very own leprechaun traps! ☘️✨

Using a variety of materials, these young innovators explored problem-solving, engineering, and a bit of imaginative thinking along the way. Who knows, perhaps one of their traps will finally catch that elusive leprechaun! 🌈🍀
