ChatGPT created my caricature.
I am re-entering the workforce at Miami Childrens also called Nicklaus Childrens with the Neurosurgery team as a neurosurgery nurse specialist. I will continue to work for Cultural Care as a local childcare coordinator. I love the Au Pair program. It was so great for our family. Peter, the peacock, has become a daily visitor and today he brought 3 peahens with him. I hope he brings me his babies. We arrived in Miami on February 7, 2025 and I’m ending out February 6, 2026 happy about the change and looking forward to the next year.

Nooooooo!
I just heard that sprinkles cupcakes is closing.
I had to relive all my good memories there. I’m just a cupcake eater with an exercise problem.
I’m lucky to have an extra “dessert stomach”
I always have room for cupcakes!

Happy 16th birthday to my number one son! Due to being in Florida we have to wait a few more months for your drivers license because the permit requirement is 12 months. No worries! You know how to fly an airplane so that will be easy.

🎉 Happy 6th Birthday to Jax! 🐾
We got lucky when Jax joined our family back in 2020. He was just 11 months old when his original owner was deployed to South Korea, and he walked into our house grinning like he’d just won the lottery.
Jax quickly settled in with our cat and big dog, and a couple of years later he proudly took on his role as “big brother” when Duke, our Bernese Mountain Dog, came along. 💙
He takes his job as house protector very seriously—but beneath that tough exterior is the biggest goofball you’ll ever meet. From guarding the yard to camping cross-country on our move from Seattle to Miami, Jax has been the best adventure buddy we could ask for.
Here’s to six years of loyalty, laughs, and love, Jax! 🐶❤️

Today we are saying goodbye to our sweet Stanford. 💔 At 12 years old, after years of battling kidney issues and now likely lymphoma, his health has declined quickly despite hospitalization.

Stanford wasn’t just a cat—he was truly part of our family. He joined us when our kids were just 4 and 2, immediately fitting right in with two big dogs and the chaos of family life. He traveled with us from Las Vegas to Seattle (through three different homes) and even braved the 11-day road trip that brought us to Miami. Just a few weekends ago, he came with us to Key West—always eager to be part of the adventure.

He will always be remembered as our beautiful, social, and incredibly friendly boy. I can’t imagine my days without his companionship and friendship. 🐾💙

Rest easy, sweet Stanford. You were so loved, and you’ll always be with us.
