New and prospective families are invited for a school tour and information session TOMORROW! This session will be hosted by Whittier’s Principal, Cindy Watters, Whittier staff, and some current Whittier families. The session will begin with a school tour, including Kindergarten classrooms, and conclude in the Whittier Library for an informational presentation and Q&A. Adult caregivers are also invited (but not required!) to stay for the Whittier PTA’s monthly meeting (beginning at 7pm).
All are welcome to this session. Please note children are also welcome but many new and prospective families choose to attend this session without children as the presentations are prepared for adult audiences. Once students are assigned, Whittier hosts other student-centered tours before school start (so they won't miss out!). Learn more at whittierptaseattle.org.

All are welcome to join PTA volunteers for a work session on February 4 (TOMORROW) from 7-9pm in the Whittier Library. During this informal meeting time, we encourage volunteers and community members to bring projects (laptops! crochet! anything!) and work while we chat about more strategic PTA topics. This month we'll review how the PTA's investments and look for alignments with our mission and community priorities. Visit whittierptaseattle.org for more info!

Paws Up for Wildcats! Thank you to our Whittier families who have already donated clothes to our Big Blue Bin. With spring starting to bloom, if you have any clothing donations, please bag them, and place them in the bin. They also accept small toys and books. Your old clothes go a long way for children with disabilities. Go Wildcats!
