As we prepare for an exciting 2026–2027 school year, we are looking forward to reconnecting with our students and families and getting another great year of middle school athletics underway!

All athletic registration moving forward will be completed digitally through FinalForms. Students must have a current physical on file and complete all required FinalForms paperwork before they are eligible to participate in sports activities.

The South Shore back to school Popsicle Party is coming up on Monday August 31st from 3-4pm. PTSA board members will be there chatting with families, getting folks signed up for 2026/27 school year memberships, and sharing volunteer opportunities!

South Shore PTSA is providing 1 free t-shirt to all students this year. South Shore PTSA has also partnered with Seattle-based Choke Print Shop to host an online spirit wear store where you can purchase South Shore youth and adult shirts and hoodies in various colors!

Orders will be packaged and delivered to your student at school, or shipped elsewhere for additional cost, by June.
A portion of the proceeds from this sale will go to support South Shore PTSA efforts, such as teacher grants and school-wide snacks.

Thank you to all families who have participated in the 2026 Move-a-thon fundraiser for the Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA). We are in the final push for this important fundraiser, which is the primary source of our PTSA budget. These funds support classroom snacks, teacher grants, school events, family assistance, and more. If you have not yet donated, there is still time! You can also support by sharing information on social media to help spread the word.

THANK YOU to everyone - students, staff, families , and community members - who joined us at the Move-a-Thon yesterday and helped make it such an amazing event! We had so much fun moving together at our Family Dance Party—and we also raised important funds for our school

Fundraising continues! This is South Shore’s only fundraiser supporting programs like after-school clubs, student snacks, teacher appreciation, mini-grants, school events, and more.
