Where do you want to be in six months? Sitting in your bedroom playing guitar and dreaming? Or actually doing the thing?

I am about to close the doors for Step on Stage. If my posts have been speaking to you, I would love for you to join. Let’s make it happen.

I’m so excited to start working with my Step on Stage students. The first module is open. Did you claim your spot yet?

Performing hasn’t always been all roses. Here are things that have gone wrong while I was performing:

-feedback
-feedback and the sound engineer has gone missing
-people leaving during my set
-the sound was turning on and off and I didn’t know why (it was a volume switch on the top of a borrowed guitar and it was getting moved by my b***s! ha ha ha!)
-a bunch of drunk people came into the bar and started singing happy birthday to their friend in the middle of my set
-I completely forgot where I was in the song
-I got unnerved when I realized the audience was actually paying attention

All of it has helped me become a better performer.

I don’t get performance anxiety. I don’t have a fear of stepping on stage and holding the spotlight.

Why?

Because I’m prepared as f**k.

I rehearse my songs until I know them inside out, upside down, and backward.

I play through my full setlist every day for at least a week before my performance.

I practice my stage banter.

I visualize holding the audience’s attention and hearing their applause.

By the time I am standing under the lights, I am ready. I take a deep breath in, ground myself, and let the music flow. I am able to be in the moment and enjoy it.

What if performing felt good to you? How would that change things for you?

That is what I want for my students in Step on Stage. I still have a couple of spots open.

If you love playing music but you’re struggling with visibility, Step on Stage is the program for you.

We will work together you get you on stage in front of a living, breathing audience.

We’ll get your songs polished and setlist perfected so you know exactly what to do in the spotlight.

And I’ll teach you all the steps to make the leap from your bedroom and onto the stage.

Even if you’ve taken guitar lessons before, this Step on Stage will be immensely valuable.

Why?

Your lessons will be goal-oriented and tailored to your specific needs.
AND
The program goes beyond the topics covered in traditional guitar lessons including:
-branding
-communication
-marketing
-mindset

I’m not just going to help you play guitar better. I’m going to help you build the foundational skills for a career in music.

Is Step on Stage fun, exciting, sexy, and expansive? Yes.

But also, it is work. Fun work, but still work.

My expectation is that students will practice an hour a day 5-6 days a week. There is a weekly 60-minute coaching call. And the monthly module assignments will take a few hours a week to complete.

It is a transformative 6-month commitment.

Are you up for it?
