A peek into one of our after-school classes! We love sneaking veggies into traditional dishes, and the kids love sneaking tastes along the way 😉 With spinach and zucchini hidden between the layers, this lasagna was packed with goodness and big smiles💛

How did our teen class celebrate the Seahawks’ win last week? By making a celebratory chicken noodle soup of course.🏈🥣Packed with tender chicken, carrots, celery, herbs, and hearty noodles — the ultimate comfort food victory bowl.💪

From fluffy insides to crispy skins, our Monday class gave these potatoes a twice-baked glow-up. They scooped, mashed, stuffed, and baked again- one round in the oven is just not enough for a really great potato!

This week in the kitchen we made barbecue cornbread pie with our chefs! The kids chopped, mixed, tasted, and learned how one recipe can work for everyone.

Our vegetarian cooks used jackfruit and tofu that had been frozen and then thawed instead of meat — jackfruit for that pulled-BBQ texture, and tofu because the freeze-then-thaw process gives it a chewier bite and helps it soak up all that smoky sauce🔥

Did you know there’s more than one kind of flour for pasta? 🌾
✨Semolina – golden, a little rough, and perfect for helping pasta hold the sauce.
💛00 flour – silky and soft, giving dough that extra smooth texture.

Our pasta today was made from just 4 simple ingredients: flour, eggs, salt, and oil. Sometimes the simplest things are the most delicious! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Behind the scenes of our pasta series 🍝✨ Our young chefs rolled out fresh fettuccine noodles from scratch and got caught “red-handed” whipping up a sweet & spicy harissa hot honey sauce for their roasted carrot side dish🔥🍯.
