"Jesse Glover once told me that he and his brother Mike stayed till the end of the funeral service and told the grave diggers that they (Jesse and Mike) will finish burying their friend with shovel in hand after everyone left. He further stated that he and Mike cried like babies as they buried their beloved friend Bruce"..........

In honour of Jesse Glover who was born on this day explaining in his own words his process that he named Non-Classical Gung Fu

On this day the 'Little Dragon' was born and in a way we were all born too by his influence and inspirational martial arts and philosophy that has inspired generations. Jesse Glover was the first of many to be taught by Bruce Lee and helped to cement his legacy...long live the Little Dragon

As a mark of respect we should also honour the sad passing of Grandmaster Keith R. Kernspecht yesterday who was also a huge influence on many in the Wing Chun community and a student of Jesse Glover

Today marks the untimely death of Bruce Lee who became without a doubt the most influential and famous martial artist in modern times. On this day we must also remember Jesse Glover for his contribution in making his friend more well known by asking Bruce Lee to take him on as his first student. Together they kick started the journey that made Bruce Lee immortal amongst the martial arts world.
