UW New Student & Transfer Programs

UW New Student & Transfer Programs Supporting first-year student transitions to the UW! We manage transitional programs and learning communities for incoming students.

Some of our programs include Advising and Orientation, Dawg Daze, First-year Interest Groups and Commuter Commons. The University of Washington encourage interaction, discussion, comments, questions, and criticism but ask that you keep comments and posts relevant and respectful. We will remove any post or ban anyone who violates these guidelines. We will not tolerate personal attacks, inappropriat

e language, sexism, racism, spamming, or excessive posting. We reserve the right to delete excessive postings to improve the overall fan experience, as well as the right to remove posts advertising commercial products as well as those that violate Facebook's terms of service or are inaccurate.

Working Title: Summer Enrichment Classroom Aide
Appointment Duration: June 15 to July 24, 2026
Compensation: $21.77 - $26.31/hour

Tentative Work Schedule:
Before classes are in session:
June 23 and June 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM: 12 hours, in person
Online trainings: 8 hours, online
Initial meeting with instructional team: 1 hour, virtual
When classes are in session: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (30 minutes of unpaid break)
The work schedule will be confirmed at the beginning of June, based on the specific assignment. Occasionally, extended hours may be required and assigned based on availability.
