Are you interested in studying in Japan? Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) offers scholarships for international students who want to further their studies at a Japanese college or university.
The Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle is now accepting applications for the 2027 MEXT Scholarships for students (U.S. citizens) of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington State. The deadline to apply is May 29, 2026.
