This 49ers Alumni Weekend is going to be especially meaningful to me because I have the opportunity to honor a woman who made a lasting impact on my life after my time playing with the San Francisco 49ers.

During my transition from professional football into discovering my purpose beyond the game, Chantaine Fauntleroy was someone who consistently encouraged me, prayed for me, and believed in what I could become. Her words helped push me forward, and I’ve never forgotten that.

Since 2024, she has battled Triple Negative Breast Cancer three times, enduring chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and radiation treatments. In April 2026, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that has spread throughout her body. Despite being told there is no cure, her faith remains unwavering.

Her words say it best: “I will believe the report of the Lord and LIVE! I’m going to live to see it happen!”

I was able to make her dream come true by surprising her with two tickets to the 49ers vs. Washington Commanders Monday Night Football game during Alumni Weekend, allowing us to share this special experience together.

For me, this is bigger than football. It’s an opportunity to give back to someone who poured into me when I was finding my way after the game, and to create a memory that celebrates her faith, strength, and the impact she’s had on my life.

This is what IMPACT OVER INFLUENCE is all about.

I’m incredibly grateful to the 49ers organization for helping make this moment possible.

THE PRICE OF GREATNESS 🏈🔥

A huge thank you to Lake Washington High School Football for having me out last night to speak with the team!

I had the opportunity to share some lessons, experiences, and gems from my journey in this game, from the University of Washington to the NFL, about what it truly takes to achieve greatness.

My message was simple: Everybody wants greatness, but not everybody is willing to pay the price it requires. The sacrifices, discipline, accountability, preparation, and commitment to something bigger than yourself are what separate those who talk about it from those who live it.

Lake Washington will always hold a special place in my heart. In the early days of Warrior WR Academy, the first athlete I trained who earned a college football scholarship came out of Lake Washington High School. To come back years later and pour into the next generation was truly a full-circle moment.

Special thank you to Coach Andy Arena for the invitation and opportunity to impact these young men!

Greatness isn’t given. It’s earned through what you’re willing to do when nobody is watching.

Keep building, keep believing, and keep elevating! The Warrior Way! ⚔️

COACHES. PLAYERS. PARENTS. 🗣️🏈

I want you to really take in this message from Tom Brady on his career and the approach he took towards the adversity in his football journey.

Talent and training matter, but MINDSET can separate you from everyone else.

Stop pointing fingers and start looking in the mirror. Instead of asking what everyone else needs to do better, ask:

“What can I do better?”

Bring the energy. Bring the effort. Bring the enthusiasm. BRING THE JUICE DAILY! ⚡️

That mindset is contagious and can change your performance, your team, and your life.

Control what you can control. Get better every day.

Impact Over Influence.

The Warrior Way!

WHO’S GOT NEXT?

10/01/2026

TRAIN IT. TRUST IT. EXECUTE IT.

The Warrior Academy In-season development work with Seattle Prep Sports freshman QB Colton focusing on one of his biggest goals: becoming more accurate throwing on the move.

Whether it’s play action, escaping the pocket, a designed rollout, or scrambling to extend the play, we worked on the details that make the difference:

🏈 Proper footwork on the move
🏈 Staying balanced through the delivery
🏈 Consistent throwing mechanics
🏈 Getting the ball out accurately from different angles

The best part? The same drills and coaching points we worked on showed up in his next 2 games!

That’s what in-season development is about. We’re training players at EVERY AGE, POSITION, and SKILL LEVEL not just training to train—we’re working on skills that translate directly to GAME DAY.

The season started. Don’t stop developing.

From training sessions to GAME DAY. 🏈🔥

The best part of the work we do at Warrior Academy is watching the training translate when it matters.

We work technique, build confidence, and challenge our athletes to raise the expectations they have for themselves.

Tayos has been LOCKED IN all summer, putting in the work and sharpening his craft. Now we’re seeing those same techniques show up during the season.

Proud of Tayos and all of our Warrior athletes making plays each week.

Keep working. Keep growing. Keep elevating.

The work translates. The Warrior Way.
