Human Factors and Transportation Systems Research Our research focus is investigating how people's behaviors impact their risks of injuries and mishaps.

The Human Factors and Statistical Modeling Lab is part of the University of Washington and lead by Lab Director Linda Boyle. Why do drivers crash? Why do operator errors occur? These are questions that our research explores. We utilize a wide range of innovative approaches to solving problems related to human factors and transportation systems.
