Blue Ribbon Cooking, located in the heart of Seattle, offers world-class culinary summer camps for beginner to advanced students from 4 to 17 years old. With the guidance of our professional chef instructors, students learn how to work safely in the kitchen with confidence and independence. From classic culinary skills to baking from scratch, our camps offer students the opportunity to learn how to create delicious savory and sweet dishes in the kitchen.

Dreaming back to this beautiful evening! It was an honor to host American Seafoods at Block 41 for their annual holiday party. The space felt like stepping into a modern New York loft, styled with elegant black-and-white details throughout. Twinkling lights, contemporary design accents, and delicious cuisine transformed the venue into a winter wonderland, creating a festive and memorable evening for guests.

Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and then treated to a trio of savory tray passed appetizers including our baked triple cream brie tarts with orange-cranberry chutney and walnut crumb, wild Alaskan po***ck fish & chip bites with homemade tarter sauce, creamy chipotle tomato bisque shooters with mini grilled cheese bites. The sips continued with a White Holiday Martini, Holiday White Russian, PNW Espresso Martini, and Classic Old Fashion made with Black Rock Candy for a fun twist!

For dinner, the plated dinner include a welcome course of winter greens with goat cheese, vanilla-chipotle spiced pecans, and French baguette with whipped European butter. The menu featured cedar plank salmon with cranberry-apple chutney and candied ginger, braised boneless beef short rib with marchand de vin, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and marmalade-glazed heirloom carrots.

After a beautiful evening program, late-night snacks were served, including fried chicken and waffle sliders and a build-your-own nacho station with a selection of tasty toppings. Cheers to an incredible evening — our team was honored to be part of the celebration!

The entire week will focus on Italy’s delicious foods and culinary history—from fresh pasta, sauces, risotto, pizza, polenta, gnocchi, and much more. Blog Post: Are you searching for a beautiful garden venue with a historic mansion? Marybeth and Brandon’s wedding at Sanders Estate was nothing short of extraordinary. Every moment overflowed with joy, laughter, and heartfelt celebration. In the estate’s enchanting gardens, they said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends, creating memories to last a lifetime.

The dinner menu continued the celebration with dishes that blended elegance and comfort. A blackberry and champagne vinaigrette salad with delicate greens, local chèvre, and vanilla-chipotle spiced pecans opened the meal, followed by entrées such as citrus-marinated chicken breast with avocado-lime relish (GF/DF) and Asian-inspired braised beef short rib with umami redux and vegetable slaw. For vegetarian options, guests enjoyed truffle macaroni and cheese with brown butter panko crusting (Veg) and a lemon and chive orzo salad with goat cheese and arugula (Veg), complemented by Pike Place Market-style grilled vegetables finished with fleur de sel (Vegan). Artisan breads with herb-infused olive oil and balsamic vinegar completed the feast, offering a perfect mix of refined flavors and seasonal ingredients.

With blooming gardens, sparkling fountains, rolling hills, and serene wooded glens, Sanders Estate provided a truly picture-perfect backdrop — the ideal setting for their portraits and an unforgettable day. We are so happy for these two as they begin their next adventure together!

Looking for a beautiful venue in Seattle? Check out the Seattle Design Center. ✨

We had the joy of being part of this incredible spring fundraiser and gala. As guests stepped into The Seattle Design Center, they were welcomed with delicious passed appetizers and a stunning view of the atrium, featuring vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, and beautifully curated event décor.

Friends of the Children is an inspiring organization that provides mentorship to local youth, “Impacting generational change by supporting youth facing the greatest life obstacles in our community through relationships with paid professional mentors for 12+ years—no matter what.”

Guests were invited to visit the Sky Bridge at The Seattle Design Center, a stunning glass-enclosed space offering views of the city and the stars above. The Sky Bridge appetizers included an elegant selection of passed bites, including red wine poached pear and gorgonzola mousse crostini with hazelnut dust and micro herbs, smoked salmon cucumber canapés with jalapeño-scallion mascarpone, and modern Caprese tarts featuring tomato jam, basil-marinated fresh mozzarella, and crisp fried prosciutto.

In the main atrium, guests enjoyed a vibrant selection of passed bites, including bulgogi beef lettuce wraps with pickled vegetables and gochujang aioli, miniature citrus-poached white fish tacos with orange olive salsa and chimichurri crema, and modern Caprese tarts with tomato jam, basil-marinated fresh mozzarella, and crisp fried prosciutto.
