Don't miss this exciting upcoming UW School of Nursing event!
Good health is good for business.
For over four decades, global health experts have made commitments to deliver health for all, yet have failed to take the necessary steps to put people first, invest in primary health care, and eliminate inequalities in access to care.
Join us for this year's Endowed Lecture for Health Promotion, featuring Dr. Pamela Cipriano, who will explore the importance of advocating for the investments and policy changes that provide opportunities for nurses to deliver substantial health and economic benefits to their people and nations.
Dr. Pamela Cipriano is an international nursing leader who served as the 29th President of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) from 2021 to 2025. She also served two terms as President of the American Nurses Association. Dr. Cipriano brings extensive experience as an academic medical center executive and previously served as Dean of the University of Virginia School of Nursing, where she holds the title of Professor Emerita.
