Our club uses the Toastmasters methodology to enhance and improve our skills in public speaking, presentations and leadership. Join us — we’re a fun, eclectic group!
Meeting roles are scheduled on a monthly basis, using a Doodle poll. You may request a specific role or mark yourself as unavailable as needed.
We use a Google Group to communicate about the weekly schedule and find substitutions if we can no longer fill a previously requested role.
Each new member is paired with a club “buddy” for advice, guidance and mentorship.
Members take an online assessment to select an educational Pathway curriculum of speech projects, each with a different objective offered by Toastmasters International. Your “Ice Breaker” speech is your chance to introduce yourself and begin the exciting journey of becoming a more competent and confident speaker!
Membership dues are collected every six months: $45 to Toastmasters International + $20 to the local club. New members pay a one-time $20 Toastmasters International registration fee.
Find us online at http://ectm.club and via Facebook (@SeattleECTM), Meetup and YouTube.
Find us in person at the Fourth & Battery Building every Thursday.
