We are thrilled to announce SANCAFEST 2026!

Enjoy a FREE open house with fun circus playtime, casual performances, and a *raffle for a group class*! This is your chance to try a variety of circus disciplines such as aerial, tumbling, juggling, and more. Come see what circus is all about and celebrate the community we love! The event is free and open to the public!

Performing Flying Trapeze in the Trapeze Soiree this weekend on August 29th!

I took my first flying trapeze class with a Groupon well over 10? 15? years ago? Time flies (literally!) The fly community is like none other and many of us have watched our kids grow up and celebrated many milestones together. I also have a love for the dance trapeze and have enjoyed performing both in a variety of shows over the years. I will be performing flying trapeze in the Soiree. What inspires me most about circus arts is the ability to do so many things that seemed impossible and out of my reach when I first started.

Why should people attend the show?

You should attend this show to catch some great performances and help raise money to support an incredible community of aerialists and flyers.

Today we’re dreaming back to the incredible Sans Solo Trois performance! From aerial to acro, each act brought something unique to the stage, filling the space with creativity, energy, and incredible talent.

Join us THIS week for The Trapeze Soirée on August 29th!

Are you, or is someone you love, a fan of flying trapeze? Come join us for our first fundraiser that is all flying trapeze all the time! Dress your best (Does that mean sequins, feathers, fringe and glitter? We don’t judge!) and enjoy performances from the Youth Fly Team, Advanced Student Flyers and the Emerald City Flyers. Help us celebrate our incredible flying trapeze community and raise funds to support the programming that makes it all possible.

Open to the public | All ages are welcome!

Explore these incredible workshops! Mark your calendars and reserve your spot!

Enya is a trapeze artist, aerial coach, Guinness World Record holder, and a graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal. Her work has been featured in Luzia by Cirque du Soleil, and after more than 2,700 performances and a decade of teaching workshops internationally, she brings both stage experience and a refined eye for movement to every class she teaches.

Experience a thrilling night of flying trapeze, aerial performances, circus arts, and Halloween entertainment at Emerald City Trapeze Arts. Stay after the show on Saturday for our annual Halloween Dance Party!

Deep in the wild of the Pacific Northwest, a lone hiker sets up camp. Then comes a sound, a flicker of light between the trees and a voice calling out a friendly hello. Follow our hiker into a world of twisted rituals, dangerous desire, breathtaking aerial acts, seductive movement, and circus spectacle under the Halloween moon. The deeper he goes, the harder it becomes to tell where the performance ends and the initiation begins.

This Halloween, leave civilization behind. Follow the lights, enter the woods and whatever you do…don’t get chosen.

We'll explore some of our favorite twisting, spinning, flipping, rolling, & cart-wheeling moves on the Doubles Trapeze.

About the Instructors: Dynamic circus artists and coaches, Bayard and Leah bring over 20 years of combined experience, a love of teaching, and a dash of delightful chaos to their workshops. Specializing in partner work on duo trapeze, straps, and acro, they blend technical precision, conceptual curiosity, and a playful spirit. Whether exploring the mechanics of movement or the art of improvisation, their sessions invite students to push limits, experiment with flow (and entropy), and have fun together in the air and on the ground.

Fall 1 registration opens at noon today! 🎪✨

Choose from over 150 classes for kids, teens, and adults. This is your chance to discover the thrill of the circus. Many of our classes are beginner friendly!

Fall 1 session classes begin on September 8 and run through October 24. Our drop-in fall classes will continue throughout both Fall 1 and Fall 2. Please check Amilia for class-specific dates and details.
