This morning, Epiphany School students and staff gathered for a special flag-raising assembly. Our fourth graders talked about the significance of the three flags our school raises every day: the American flag, the Washington State flag, and the Progress Pride flag. They also shared a new, student-created version of our school’s Diversity Statement, rewritten in accessible, kid-friendly language that everyone can understand. Click the video to watch! This was the culmination of thoughtful diversity, equity, and inclusion work our fourth graders have engaged in all year-round. We think they did an amazing job! 👏

Thank you again to all the families, faculty, staff, and alumni who came out to celebrate Epiphany School’s 65th anniversary and the amazing community we have built together. Thanks to you, we were able to raise over $320,000 to support our school program and financial aid.

As part of their economics unit, this morning our young entrepreneurs hosted the Second Grade Toy Expo, showcasing the business they created, sharing the toy they made, and delivering persuasive speeches about why their company is worth investing in. Good job, students! 👍

We're so excited to see everyone tomorrow night at GATHER, our spring fundraiser to support financial aid. Our financial aid program is central to our school’s caring, inclusive, family-focused environment! Whether or not your family receives aid, every Epiphany School student benefits from this program, as it helps ensure that our school community can be more like the world we live in, with a dynamic mix of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and perspectives. Epiphany School's six-week summer program offers a balanced mix of teacher-led projects and child-directed exploration for children in pre-k through fifth grade.
